Global reach of .NET – .NET 079

How often do you stop to think about how easy it is for new developers to get started with .NET? Since .NET Core was released, the framework is available to many more developers but in some parts of the world there are still hurdles to overcome.

Samuel Adranyi moved back to Ghana two years ago to try and help Africans get over some of those hurdles. In West Africa a lot of people start out with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and naturally gravitate to JavaScript frameworks. Samuel has started a few meetups and user groups to introduce people to .NET and his enthusiasm for the framework is contagious. While .NET is more accessible than ever there is still more to do and Samuel is leading the charge in West Africa.
